Every order from katieshapiroart.com is packed with care, whether it's travelling across the UK or making its way to a collector overseas. This page covers everything you need to know about how and when your order will arrive.
My shop carries three types of products — original paintings shipped directly from my studio near Bath, fine art prints fulfilled by my print partner, The Print Space, greeting cards, cushions, etc. are fulfilled by a 3rd party vendor. Timelines differ slightly between them, so please read the relevant section below.
Before It ShipsProcessing Times
Processing time is the time between when you place your order and when it leaves for you.

Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays are processed on the next working day. During busy periods (Christmas, seasonal launches) please allow a little extra time — I'll always communicate any delays.

Original paintings are wrapped in acid-free tissue, reinforced backing board, and a robust outer box to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Fine art prints are dispatched in flat rigid mailers or tubes, depending on size.
WorldwideInternational Delivery
I ship worldwide. Delivery times and costs vary by destination and are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.

Customs & import duties: International orders may be subject to customs fees, import taxes, or duties charged by your country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in my prices or shipping fees. Please check your local regulations before ordering.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this to follow your parcel's journey at any time.
- UK orders: tracked via Royal Mail or courier
- International orders: tracked to the point of customs entry; onward tracking depends on your local postal service
- Fine art prints ship separately from originals if ordered together — you'll receive separate tracking for each
Lost, Delayed or Damaged Orders
I take great care in packing every order, but occasionally things can go wrong in transit. Here's what to do:
- Damaged on arrival: Contact me within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging
- Delayed: If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, please allow 5 additional business days before contacting me — delays at customs are the most common cause for international orders
- Lost in transit: If tracking shows no movement for 15+ business days (UK) or 30+ business days (international), get in touch and I'll investigate with the carrier
Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout. I'm unable to take responsibility for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect address provided at the time of purchase.
