Some of my favorite paintings come from the moments I least expect, and the artwork for the Hannah pillow was certainly one of those. This piece was created collaboratively with my daughter Hannah, who was five years old at the time and very much in charge. There is no sneaking away to my studio to paint while she is around. She is right beside me, making art, and that is exactly how this design came to life. She was both the inspiration and the collaborator, and those hints of soft yellow? All her.

It is one of the pieces I am most proud of, because it captures her pure beauty.
